Julia del Río uses diverse artistic strategies for interaction with electromagnetic fields for sound performance. Her concerts sonically translate the invisible world of interference and magnetism. Her sound is always a result of various acts of digital communication. She combines her career in Industrial Design engineering and Product Development with her studies in Visual Arts and Multimedia at Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain. Since 2016 Julia resides in Interface Cultures LAB at Kunstuniversität Linz, Austria.
She is currently focused on the field of sound performances, exploring diverse artistic strategies for interaction with electromagnetic fields. Other part of her work deals with online spaces like market places or social networks.
